BE PREPARED

With the potential of more and more blackouts, rolling blackouts, outages, etc. It's time to refresh your commitment to BEING PREPARED.

We had a blackout the other night, about 30 minutes. I grabbed my Fenix CL30R (which has a handy tripod mount) and instantly my living room was back to safe. Grabbed another LED lantern for bath/bedroom and a third old school florescent lantern by Rayovac for the outside stairway/hallway

MY POINT IS: ALL were easy to find and fully charged. YOURS SHOULD BE ALSO.

KEEP them in an easily accessible place and check them regularly!

Run either Lithium batteries or religiously turn them on monthly (that will prevent alkaline batteries from corroding)

HEADLAMPS are a BIG PLUS for outages allowing you to have both hands free while doing what you need to do.

My FAV is FENIX HL60R Lightweight Rechargeable and POWERFUL.

Pocket sized Lithium lights, Fenix PD32, PD35, and the latest newest PD36R

While I'm at it for your personal Search and Rescue handheld (STOOPID bright) take a look at either the Fenix TK72R or Thrunite TN36

MASKS

ECHOING what I have been saying all along.

ALL MASKS are NOT EQUAL

The worst are bandanas and neck gaiters.

The best are N95, N99, N100

Don't believe me?

SUPPORT LAW ENFORCEMENT

 Just a reminder......

Two separate incidents on my way to get a Covid test today.

Market street, saw a little old lady slowly crossing the street as the light changed/ SFPD saw it, stopped his car mid intersection lights on and blocked the street till she was safely across.

TO PROTECT and SERVE. KUDOS!!

Coming home on Turk street, saw another officer stop his car mid street, got out and removed a big piece of trash that was blocking the lane.

 TO PROTECT and SERVE. KUDOS!!

BLUE LIVES MATTER!

THANK A COP WHEN YOU SEE THEM.!
