Still working on getting the medication situation under control. Good news is that the narcotic/opiod pain meds are discontinued for good.
Bad news is that there still may be some colliding with the anti depressant/mood enhancer/appetite increasers. Perhaps the Zoloft is counteracting the mirtazapine and cancelling out the benefits.
Her appetite was not so good excepting breakfast which she always seems to do good with.
Dinner found her distracted/sleepy and not hungry. I'll have a report when I talk to the nurses tomorrow a.m.
Physical therapy was not bad but not outstanding and seemed to take it toll on her energy level for the rest of the day. She worked hard getting out/up from the wheelchair to a walker and standing straight 2 of 4 times. Bent over butt out defensive the other two times.
She has been able to vocalize well and has said several times when asked who the most important person is in the team. A clear "I AM"
