Sunday night update here:

While Sundays are usually pretty quiet and mom has been kind of low key on the past couple of Sundays, I arrived to see her eating her chicken pot pie with roasted zucchini and nearly finishing it. She also had 1/2 of a bowl of melon and asked for and finished a bowl of ice cream!

She spoke to relatives on the phone and they report that they had a nice conversation.

She is usually lucid, however some confusion still remains. I am told that that is somewhat normal for someone with this much time away from home.

Physical therapy tomorrow morning at 9 a.m.
